Mother's Union Annual Gathering

The Mothers' Union Annual Gathering will be a virtual event on Saturday 25th September, streaming on YouTube Premiere. Drawing on our 2021 theme of ‘Rebuilding Hope and Confidence’, this event will be a celebration of what we have achieved over the past year and an opportunity to look forward to the future and the new triennium. The programme will include an address from our Worldwide President, Sheran Harper and our CEO, Bev Jullien, as well as a financial update and a range of inspiring and informative contributions from members across Britain & Ireland and beyond.

The event is in two sessions, with the morning session, including an act of worship led by Bishop Emma, the Mothers' Union Central Chaplain, premiering from 11.00 am until 12.30 pm and the afternoon session premiering from 1.30 pm – 2.30 pm.

The programme for the Annual Gathering is available now. Additional information, including the link to the YouTube Premiere will be added over the coming weeks.

Part of the enjoyment of these events is being able to share the experience with friends. While we aren’t able to all be together in the same venue, it is hoped that dioceses or groups might meet to watch – and talk about – the 2021 Annual Gathering together. Or members could meet in each other’s homes to watch together – and enjoy lunch together as well.

YouTube Premieres allow everyone to watch and experience the Annual Gathering together in real time. After the video has premiered, it will become available on the Mothers' Union YouTube channel.

Good news for next year - we will be holding our Annual Gathering in Belfast in 2022 – with a Cathedral service on Friday 23rd September and the Annual Gathering at the International Conference Centre on Saturday 24th September, so put the dates in your diary now!
