RISE UP

RISE UP against domestic violence aims to raise awareness about domestic abuse across Britain & Ireland

The letters of RISE UP stand for Respond, Inform, Support, Empower, Unite and Pray.

Domestic abuse can happen to anyone from any walk of life. It’s our goal that Mothers’ Union members and churches will work together to be a part of the change and will get involved with our RISE UP challenge. This challenge will be part of our wide MU National Domestic Abuse Programme which is launching soon.

The challenge assigns bronze, silver and gold awards for branches and churches that take part and complete various actions as we work together to raise critical awareness and take action against domestic abuse in all its forms.
