All profits from the hiring of our rooms goes towards our programmes which have supported communities worldwide for over 100 years.

Mary Sumner House offers affordable venue hire, with a selection of 8 beautiful rooms and a conference hall to choose from - we have something suitable for every occasion. Not only will you receive high-quality customer service and value for money; booking a room through us for your next meeting, workshop, training course or event goes towards the work of our charity. We also provide flexible catering options, giving you the freedom to bring in your preferred caterers.

We have been fortunate to use Mothers’ Union’s conference room facilities on a number of occasions. Amenities of this size, quality and cost are so very difficult to come by.

Getting Here

Mary Sumner House is in a prime central London location near Parliament Square and Westminster Abbey. There are excellent transport links and it is a short walk from Victoria, Westminster and St James' tube stations as well as Charing Cross, Waterloo and Victoria train stations. 

 

Disabled Access

Mary Sumner House offers assisted wheelchair access (Access Category 2) and access for delegates with mobility issues (Access Category 3) by way of the following:

  • Ramp from street level into the building
  • Lift* to access Lower Ground, Ground, 1st & 2nd Floors for meeting rooms and disabled access toilet on the 4th Floor
  • Stair lift for wheelchair users to access the Conference Hall in the Lower Ground
  • Disabled access toilet in the Ladies Toilets on the 2nd Floor
  • Unisex disabled access toilet on the 4th Floor

*Lift Dimensions:  1.20m (W) x 85cm (D)
     Doorway is 75cm wide

Refreshments

We offer tea/coffee/biscuits/water in our smaller meeting rooms.  Lunch for these rooms needs to be ordered from an external caterer.
For the Conference Hall, refreshments and catering need to be ordered from an external caterer.

We recommend Spoilt for Choice or Sands Catering.

Situated in the heart of Westminster, Mary Sumner House is ideally located between Westminster, St. James's Park, Victoria and Pimlico tube stations.
