We offer practical help and support to everyone from expectant mothers, through family life to retirement. With over 933 members across the diocese, including both of our bishops and many clergy, we are able to call upon a wide range of skills.

Our work:

  • Parenting courses in prisons
  • Play areas for visitors’ children in three prisons
  • Craft activities in prisons
  • Marriage preparation courses and provision of marriage preparation material to other dioceses
  • Support four Women’s Refuges, including individual Christmas gifts
  • Support group for parents with autistic children
  • AFIA holidays
  • Emergency toiletry bags for hospitals
  • Running toddler groups.
