We are a large diocese with 2,100 members in 100 groups working in the five episcopal areas of Bradford, Huddersfield, Leeds, Wakefield and Ripon.

Our vision statement is: Through the love of God and in partnership with the Church, we seek to reach out creatively and actively to support stable family relationships and to promote a more just society.

Most members meet in groups at churches sharing fellowship, fun and faith. Through prayer, projects, campaigns and fundraising we respond to needs, reaching out to support family life in all its forms.

Our work:

  • Holidays for families in need of a break (Away From It All holidays)
  • Support for prisoners and their families
  • Provision of emergency toiletry packs for hospital patients
  • Supply of twiddle muffs and aprons for people with dementia
  • Support for women’s refuges
  • Food on a Budget booklet for those on a low income
  • Fundraising for overseas programmes.

We believe that everyone has gifts and skills to offer and we welcome new members to come along and share in prayer and fellowship and ensuring our projects continue to grow.
Join us! Make new friends and make a difference.
