Mothers’ Union Manchester endeavours to provide support for families who have met with adversity and encourage flourishing relationships through our numerous projects. Our aim is to enable and empower in order to enrich lives.

In Manchester there are approximately 1,000 members. We meet, worship together and work mainly in parishes to support the clergy in their mission to the church and community, with particular emphasis on the family (in its many forms). There is also the opportunity to join as a member in the diocese, supporting the work financially, through several projects but, above all, through prayer.

Our work:

  • Away From It All (AFIA) holidays

  • Hospital support

  • Passionate about Parenting

  •  Just Up Your Street

  • Prison projects

  •  Weddings

  • Ethical and virtual gifts
