Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham covers Nottinghamshire and part of south Yorkshire
We are a passionate charity who work in many practical ways to support family life including helping families to explore and enjoy faith together.
We have over 1,000 members in a variety of forms of membership. Mothers' Union groups provide for social and pastoral needs of members, often including lunch or afternoon tea. Speakers are invited to speak on a range of subjects of general interest and to raise awareness of issues and current and future projects.
Organise Away From It All (AFIA) holidays
Running a child contact centre
Supporting local foodbanks
Organising parenting courses and marriage preparation courses
Coordinating hospital and local care home visits within the diocese.
There are many ways that you can get involved with your Mothers’ Union. Put your skills to work on local, national and international projects, fundraising, volunteering and praying for the work we do.
