Diocese of Newcastle

The Diocese of Newcastle covers Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.

We as a charity often work in partnership with other charities to enhance their provision for the vulnerable by providing holidays, away days and support. We work in rural and inner city areas.

Diocese of Norwich

Mothers’ Union Diocese of Norwich covers Norfolk and the Waveney Area of north east Suffolk. In this largely rural diocese, our Mothers’ Union members endeavour to express Christ’s love in a secular environment.

Through a wide variety of initiatives, our members enable the strengthening of family life and local communities across Norfolk and Waveney. Through relationship workshops, toddler groups and prison work, hospital support and holidays, we actively reach out to support all ages at all stages in life. Our members campaign locally on issues of importance and take part in national and global campaigns promoting equality and justice. All our work is underpinned by daily prayer.

Diocese of Oxford

Mothers’ Union works in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire to bring God’s love to others, whether that be through local activities like supporting children in their own church, or projects and campaigns that everyone can join in, such as our Hospital Project and activities we do to raise awareness of gender-based violence. We encourage our members to grow spiritually through quiet days whilst prayer and Bible study underpins all that we do to support our communities and the wider world.

Diocese of Peterborough

Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Peterborough includes the northern part of Peterborough, the whole of Northamptonshire and Rutland.

Mothers’ Union members play a part, through prayer and action, to support family life in their local community and throughout the world.  We share the good news of the Gospel and enjoy fun and fellowship. Our work varies across the diocese – wherever there is need.

Diocese of Portsmouth

Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Portsmouth covers south-east Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Portsmouth seeks to support our local families by developing prayer and spiritual growth, studying and reflecting on family life and marriage and their place in society and resourcing our members to take practical action to improve conditions for families. As well as being involved in the national and international projects, our members are involved in many local projects.

Diocese of Rochester

Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Rochester covers a large portion of Kent, mostly east Kent.

Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Rochester works through our local membership with community-based projects; we reach out to meet the spiritual and practical needs of families.
