What is Church Based Membership (CBM)?
In addition to individual membership coalescing as a diocesan branch or group, or joining the global movement, Mothers’ Union is launching a new membership subscription for Churches where there is currently no active MU branch or group.
By introducing MU and our wonderful resources and members into churches this way, we hope that clergy and congregation will see the benefits of engaging with MU more and more.
CBM Benefits
For an annual subscription CBM will:
- Help support a Church’s ministry with MU support through resources, worship and training materials and by providing access to community work.
- Showcase MU work, volunteering, campaigning and global fundraising opportunities.
- Link Churches to MU local dioceses for additional support whilst enabling members of the congregation to be involved in local MU community projects.
- Lay the foundation for new MU groups to be formed.
