Autumn Boxes in Rochester Diocese

The latest outreach initiative by the Cuxton and Halling MU branch was an ‘Autumn box’ which was given to each child in the Reception classes at Halling Primary School for Half Term.

The Autumn boxes contained fun facts on plants, animals, birds and mini-beasts with identification cards, a magnifying glass, cress seeds, stickers and pictures to colour in. Children were encouraged to make notes, take pictures and share their discoveries with their family and friends. This was designed to encourage families to fall in love with Autumn all over again and have fun outside together in God’s beautiful world.
