Hand in Hand Find faith together ideas sheet
Finding faith in the family isn’t something else to teach our children but a way

Branch Activity - Praying with St Brigid
St Brigid – one of the few female Irish saints – was known for her generosity to the poor and needy. She founded two monastic institutions – one for men and one for women – in Kildare. She is often depicted holding a reed cross which is now known as a ‘St Brigid’s Cross’. Legend has it that she used to weave these crosses and tie them with ribbons to give to those she met on the road.
Weaving a St Brigid’s Cross can be a creative way of focussing prayer.
