Llandaff Direct Debit

Set up a Direct Debit online for Mothers' Union Llandaff membership today

Welcome to the online Direct debit sign up page for Mothers' Union Diocese of Llandaff.

If you sign up to pay by Direct Debit, your 2024 subscription will be taken automatically from your bank account on 31 January 2024. Your branch officers will receive lists of who has chosen to pay their subs in this way, so that there is no risk of you being asked to pay twice. In the weeks after signing up you will receive a communication confirming the amount of money that will be taken from your account and the date it will be debited.

Signing up to a Direct Debit will:

  • Reduce the administration burden falling on branches and all members whether they be part of a branch or a Diocesan member
  • Your membership will renew automatically without you needing to do anything more
  • It will also make life simpler for us in the Diocesan office and receiving funds in a timely manner means we can budget more effectively
  • This modern method of payment available will bring us in line with other similar organisations. If we wish to reach new and younger members and increase our membership, offering such an easy and reliable way of paying will really help.

Are you happy for us to claim gift aid on your subscription, and on any additional donation? You are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income and / or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in the relevant tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference. Gift Aid is reclaimed by Mothers’ Union from the tax you pay for the relevant tax year. (If you pay Income Tax at the higher rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due, you should include your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment return or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.) Please contact us if you want to cancel or amend this declaration, if you no longer pay sufficient Income and / or Capital Gains Tax or if your address changes. We are required to hold your current home address to identify you as a UK taxpayer; if we do not have this we may be unable to claim the Gift Aid on your donations.
