World Day of Prayer
Mothers' Union members at the Horsham Branch take part in a prayer service, held at St Mary's Horsham to commemorate The World Day of Prayer.

The World Day of Prayer "Come, everything is ready", prepared by the women of Slovenia, was on 1 March 2019. It saw several members of the Horsham branch taking part in the service held at St Mary's, Horsham. It was beautifully written with music, stories and prayers which really spoke to us of the challenges and hopes of this relatively new country and our petition to God to help us listen, understand and to bless them. The local World Day of Prayer team in Horsham, led by Veronica Kidd, made speciality Slovenian biscuits and we each received a prayer card with the traditional red carnation on it.
