Use the following websites to shop online and Mothers’ Union will receive a small donation for each purchase you make.
On Monday 3rd December 2018 a group of Mothers’ Union staff and members will gather together to sing carols at Westminster Underground Station and collect donations from passers-by. Contact us if you would like to join us or find out more about how you can do something similar in your local area.
Many shops and local councils will let you have a couple of hours to collect money on their premises. However, there are certain fundraising regulations that you must adhere to. Please contact us for more information. We can also provide collection buckets for you to use.
Ask your employer if they can arrange for a monthly donation to Mothers’ Union to be taken from your salary before tax is deducted. Please contact us for more information.
Increase your fundraising potential using JustGiving. Click on the button above to create a fundraising page with your own personalised link. This could be for an event you are holding, a sponsored event you are taking part in, to collect donations in memory of a loved one, or just to raise money for a part of Mothers’ Union’s work that you are particularly interested in. Send the link to your family, friends and work contacts. Add it to your email signature (you may need permission to do this) and to your Social Media profiles. People can donate directly to the site, it couldn't be easier.
If you are a UK taxpayer, Mothers’ Union can claim Gift Aid from the income and/or capital gains tax you pay each year. This boosts your donation by 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you!
If you have not previously made a Gift Aid declaration for Mothers’ Union, please complete this Gift Aid form and return it to the freepost address on the form. If you would like to change your Gift Aid status at any time please contact us.
If making a group donation, Mothers’ Union may also be able to claim the Gift Aid if each individual contributor signs a Gift Aid declaration.
To ensure that the Gift Aid declarations are valid please use this Gift Aid form for groups.
