Our Westminster Conference Hall is the flagship space at Mary Sumner House, offering an impressive, versatile environment for small conferences and corporate
events in London. Located on the lower level, the Conference Hall is our largest space available, accommodating up to 120 people in a Theatre-style Layout. The Hall has been recently refurbished with new flooring, refreshed décor and new technology.

Our central Westminster location puts the Conference Hall within easy reach of all your attendees. We are near several major underground stations, numerous bus routes and have parking facilities nearby. 

The Conference Hall’s versatile space excels across a wide range of professional
events. It is best suited to:

  • Speaker presentations

The room has high, elegant ceilings and offers bright natural lighting, providing excellent acoustics and making it feel particularly spacious and welcoming for

Flexible catering for your meeting

We offer flexible catering options to accommodate your needs, giving you the freedom to bring in your preferred caterers. Whether that’s a smaller meeting that requires unlimited hot drinks and snacks, or a larger all-day conference requiring external catering. If you need help choosing a caterer, we are happy to recommend trusted suppliers or accommodate your preferred choice.

Theatre-style Layout

The theatre-style layout offers teams the chance to present ideas and focus on a few individual speakers. This layout is perfect for annual reviews, product launches, or an expert sharing knowledge and ideas.

The Conference Hall can accommodate a maximum of 120 people in a theatre-style layout

Conference Hall - Cabaret

Cabaret Layout

An open-table format encourages conversation and provides the opportunity for different team and group discussions. The cabaret layout is great for breakout
sessions, training days or any other meetings.

The Conference Hall can accommodate a maximum of 60 people in a cabaret layout

Conference Hall - Boardroom

Boardroom Layout

This set-up facilitates direct communication and is great for encouraging discussions and collaboration. Suitable for board discussions, interviews or any other meetings involving sharing ideas.

The Conference Hall can accommodate a maximum of 48 people in a boardroom layout

Meeting room technology

Our Westminster Conference Hall features state-of-the-art technology with its new refurbishment, including a new mixing desk, speakers, a projector screen, and a video camera to further accommodate hybrid events and connect in-person and remote attendees effortlessly.

When booking our conference Room, it includes the technology you need for a successful event. The hire fee includes the use of the projector and screen, a top-table to up to 6 people, and a lectern. Additionally, should you need, we offer a lectern microphone, up to 4x hand-held microphones and video conferencing capabilities (compatible with most software) for hire. You can be assured that every technical aspect is covered, and you can focus on delivering a productive meeting.

Our standard booking timings are Monday to Friday:

Morning Session 9am - 1pm £749.00 (VAT exempt)
Afternoon Session 1:30pm - 5:30pm £749.00 (VAT exempt)
Full Day 9am - 5:30pm £1,285.00 (VAT exempt)

We are not able to provide lunch or tea/coffee/biscuits/water in the Conference Hall
We recommend Spoilt for Choice or Sands Catering, or you are welcome to use caterers of your choosing

Catering

Catering

We offer tea/coffee/biscuits/water in our smaller rooms, but not in the Conference Hall.  For the Conference Hall, refreshments and catering need to be ordered from an external caterer.

We recommend Spoilt for Choice or Sands Catering.
