Former MU Worldwide President receives OBE from Buckingham Palace

The sun shone brightly at Buckingham Palace yesterday (28^th March) as Mothers’ Union former Worldwide President Mrs Lynne Tembey received her OBE, awarded to her in recognition of “her services to Mothers’ Union, women and families”

HRH Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, presented Lynne with the awarded and she said "it was an honour to receive this award from Prince William and have the opportunity to talk with him about the work of Mothers’ Union throughout the world". Lynne was accompanied at the Palace with her husband David Tembey.
