Archbishop of York Leads Mothers' Union service of celebration at York Minster

16 Nov 2018

The Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, who is also a Mothers' Union member, led a service of celebration at York Minster recently. He was joined by nearly 600 members there to worship and celebrate the work of Mothers' Union in the Province.  The celebration is held every three years and this year it was the Minster's turn.

"It was a wonderful service, celebrating our work and witness over the past three years. It is lovely to come together like this to worship and be visibly be part of something much bigger," said Barbara Taylor, Provincial President of York.

A beautiful new banner and Chaplain's stole was dedicated by Archbishop Sentamu during the service.
