Thy Kingdom Come - Winchester

Winchester Diocese get involved in “Global Moment” in Coventry Cathedral as part of Thy Kingdom Come.

03 Jan 2020

For the third year running, Mothers’ Union is organising a “Global Moment” in Coventry Cathedral as part of Thy Kingdom Come. Thy Kingdom Come started in 2016 as an initiative by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York who asked everyone to pray during the nine days between Ascension and Pentecost and has since grown to a worldwide event. The Global Moment service in Coventry Cathedral on Friday 22nd May is free and open to everyone is welcome to join the service.

If you can’t get to Coventry, you can join in with the service live via a Facebook link. It would be lovely if branches or groups of members could join together to take part in this service, especially if your church has facilities to show the service on a big screen. Unfortunately, the time for the service has not yet been announced but is likely to be early afternoon. You will be able to find up-to-date information on the Mothers’ Union website via this link: https://www.mothersunion.org/get-involved/whats-on/thy-kingdom-come-global-moment-2020
