From the above fund we have purchased for the St Albans & Hertsmere Refuge our normal starter packs of saucepans, toasters, kettles and utensils plus bed linen and towels. These are greatly appreciated by the women and families (see below) as they move on to begin life in new homes and in some instances a new area of the country.
At Advent the three refuges in our Diocese will receive Advent Calendars to distribute to the children they have in their care at that time of the year.
