Stars of hope from Coxheath Area - Rochester Diocese

We have started the Advent season with ‘Stars of hope’.

15 Dec 2020

Members have been busy knitting stars, and creating a variety of stars, and hanging them at various places around the village.

Thank you to Chichester and Canterbury diocese for sharing this idea.

This was the first comment received, on Facebook page.

‘Thank you to whoever made these, made my kids day, went to the park, and for a nice walk came across these beautiful stars to put on the tree'

We have also passed on some knitted hats, thermal hats and gloves to ‘The Street Pastors’ for distribution at weekends during cold weather.

Thanks to the creativity of 2 members at short notice, 200 hand made Christmas cards have been passed onto Rochester Prison.

A selection of goodies have also been passed on to our local Princess Project.
