Mothers' Union Diocese of Llandaff

The Diocese of Llandaff Mothers’ Union covers the South Wales Valleys in the north, the capital city of Cardiff and coastline in the south

We have a forward thinking, enthusiastic membership working to support all families. All that we do is underpinned by prayer and we aim to show God’s love to everyone.

We are a very pro-active and innovative Diocese as evidenced by our outreach to the community through the range of projects, worship events and fundraising for our AFIA Caravan in Porthcawl, fulfilling Christ’s command to be His hands and feet on earth.
All that we do is underpinned by prayer as we aim to show God's love to everyone

We have 2,080 members in 80 branches and we come together regularly for faith, fellowship and fun.

Our Work:

  • Providing AFIA holidays in our Porthcawl caravan
  • Supporting young adults in emergency accommodation
  • Supporting adults with mental health issues
  • Volunteering in Parc Prison play area
  • Supporting local women’s refuges and foodbanks
  • Preparing emergency toiletries for elderly patients admitted to hospital.

There are many ways to get involved with The Diocese of Llandaff Mothers’ Union through our various forms of membership. Put your skills to good use, for example knitting for displaced persons in the Middle East
