11 Aug 2019

On Saturday 11th August, the Trustee Board of Clogher Diocese Mothers’ Union, organised a Vintage Coffee Morning in Enniskillen Cathedral Hall. The founder of Mothers’ Union was Mary Sumner and the date of the coffee morning marked the date of Mary’s death in 1921. Members of the Trustee Board dressed in the style of Mary Sumner’s era and tea and coffee was served in vintage china. The President of Clogher Diocese Mothers’ Union, Irene Boyd welcomed everyone and explained what the funds would help. Members also appreciated the help and support from their Chaplain, Rev. Charles Eames. The event was well supported by members from the branches in the Diocese as well as their families and friends.

A total of £630 was raised for the ‘Mums in May Project 2018.’
